Hussam Mezher Merdas, Abdulrazzaq Majid Obaid.

Abstract
Justice is one of the foundations of daily life. It is one of the most important principles on which humanity was built, if not the most important. Human society is a mixture of good and evil people. To establish the principle of goodness and justice, it is necessary to employ all possible components in the contemporary era. At the forefront of these components are artificial intelligence tools. Artificial intelligence has now become a means that can be relied upon in many fields. One of the most important of these fields is criminal investigations. This study deals with the most important applications of artificial intelligence in the field of criminal investigations, including the most important modern studies and advanced technologies. Thecrime consists of several pillars, the most important of which are clues, the accused, the victim, and convictions. Here comes the employment of all artificial intelligence techniques to link the elements of the crime to reach the actual negligent party and thus achieve justice. This study also contributes to a practical application of the most important algorithms used to predict the occurrence of crime. The proposed work environment gave promising results, with prediction accuracy reaching (99.4). This study will discuss artificial intelligence techniques and their contemporary applications to provide a research summary for researchers and readers to start from in preparing their research or even design other useful techniques in the field of employing artificial intelligence to establish justice

Key words: Criminal Investigations ; Artificial Intelligence ; Justice ; Crime.
