CEMENTOBLASTOMA OF MANDIBULAR THIRD MOLAR- AN INCIDENTAL RADIOGRAPHIC FINDING

Abstract
Cementoblastoma is an odontogenic neoplasm arising from neoplastic cemental tissue. It is rare as it accounts for less than 1% of all odontogenic tumours. Most cases are asymptomatic and detected on routine radiological examination although symptomatic cases have also been reported. The present report describes a case of cementoblastoma in association with the mandibular third molar which was asymptomatic but exhibited cortical plate expansion on clinical examination.
